Heirloom Traditions Paint for Amazon

I recently had the pleasure of working on set with Amazon to help tell the story of a small business making a big impact: Heirloom Traditions Paint, based in Kentucky.

This wasn’t just another shoot—it was the chance to highlight a brand that is truly transforming the way people think about paint. Heirloom Traditions has created something special: a product so versatile it can be applied virtually anywhere. We’re talking leather sofas, kitchen cabinets, furniture, doors—surfaces that most of us wouldn’t even consider painting. That kind of innovation is not only impressive, but it’s also empowering for DIYers and professionals who want to reimagine their spaces without limitations.

On set, I was reminded why I love the work I do. The Heirloom Traditions team brought so much energy and authenticity to the project. Their creator, Paula Blankenship, is a total powerhouse—her drive and vision shine through in everything she touches. Watching her talk about the brand’s journey and seeing the pride in her team’s faces was inspiring.

Collaborations like this are why I love storytelling through photography. It’s about more than just creating visuals; it’s about capturing the heart of a business, the passion behind the product, and the people who bring it all to life.

This was an amazing product, an incredible team, and an unforgettable experience.

Hello and thanks for stoping by!

I'm an editorial and commercial photographer based out of Nashville, TN. I grew up in Louisville, KY and it will always be my home. Because of that I'm partial to bourbon, horses, and baseball bats.

When not working I enjoy exploring Nashville with my wife, playing the guitar, buying records, or planning my next big trip.

I love my job not only because I get to create something new everyday, but I get to meet new people and connect with them on something more than just what's on the surface.

So let's make a connection. Tell me your story!
